Dr Usman Mushtaq is a General and Acute Care Physician with a special interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology, Perioperative Medicine and Stroke. He completed his basic physician training at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and advanced training in General and Acute Care Medicine at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital including 12 months fellowship in stroke and 6 months fellowship in Perioperative Medicine. Dr Mushtaq holds public appointment as a Consultant Physician at Central Adelaide Local Health Network and Visiting Physician appointment at Diabetes and Endocrine department, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is also Visiting Physician at Ashford Private Hospital, Calvary Wakefield Hospital, and St Andrews Hospital. He provides consultation for a wide range of acute and chronic complex medical problems including diabetes, thyroid disorders, perioperative assessment and optimization.
Dr Rassam Badbess MBBS FRACP
Acute General Physician
Dr Rassam Badbess is an Acute General Consultant Physician with interest in managing complex patients with multiple co-morbidities, including diabetes, Stroke Medicine and Peri-Operative Medicine. Trained in Malaysia and Australia, Dr Badbess gained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2008 at the University of Adelaide and completed his Basic Physician Training in 2012. He then undertook subsequent Advanced Training in Acute and General Medicine and completed a Stroke Fellowship across various health networks in South Australia, attaining his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017.
He currently has a public appointment at SALHN and has admitting rights across all major private hospitals in Adelaide.
